Memorial Day 2014

Again this year Dan and I both were excited to go to the cemeteries.  We had picked up flowers and headed to Blackfoot where we cleaned up and decorated Dad and Mom's gravesite.

Then as usual we went out to the Thomas-Riverside Cemetery and did the same at Dan and Lois's site. We also laid flowers on the graves of William Henry and Martha Caroline Thomas and Aunt Helen's.

In Moreland we put flowers on William and Elisa England's graves.  On the way back into Blackfoot I told Dan that I needed for use a restroom and wondered if he wanted to stop somewhere for a bite to eat or if I should just make a run into some convenient store.  He said he'd like to eat at the Homestead so we went there.

As soon as we walked in, there right in front of us were Aunt Eloise, her daughter Christine and Judy as well as Calvin, Judy's husband.  Of course we started talking and since they had just arrived, too, we all moved to a larger table and had dinner together.  It was so fun to visit with them and get caught up on things.  I have to say that all three women look so beautiful!!
