Mom's Funeral

On Saturday, August 4, 2012 we held the funeral for Mom at the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot, ID.  It was a beautiful day and many of Mom's family and loved ones were able to attend her services.

Kelly and Penny put the program and program folders together for her.  I think they did an amazing job.  In fact, I've received calls from Hawkers asking how we did them since they have recieved requests to do others like Moms. 

 Here are some of the people who were with us that day.

Peggy and Mark did an amazing video of Mom's life set to beautiful music which was shown at the end of the program.

Then we got into cars and proceeded to Grove City Cemetery and Mom was laid to rest right next to Dad. It felt so peaceful to put her there. That is where she had wanted to be for so very long and it was finally the right time for her.

Afterwards we had a lunch at the ward building that Mom and Dad attended.

It was good to have time with everyone before we had to head home.
