Memorial Day 2012

We miss having the kids with us on Memorial Day but we made the rounds anyway.

On the Friday before I was able to visit Great Granma and Granpa Harmon's graves in the

Pioneer Cemetery in Rigby.  That's my Dad's grandparents.

On Saturday we went first to Blackfoot to Granpa Harmon's site ...

and then on to Pocatello to Granma and Granpa Great's resting place.

We came on back to the Thomas Cemetery and put flowers on Granma and Granpa's graves as well as Aunt Marie and Granpa and Granma Walters.

Moreland was last as we visited Granma and Granpa England's site.

It's just not the same as when we would load everyone in the suburban with our Books of Remembrances, and tell stories on the ride or at the cemeteries about the wonderful people who came before us.

Several of our children are named after these great people and we appreciate a day to remember them.

This year we actually went the weekend before Memorial Day because we were going to Mark and Laura's the next weekend.
