Daniel and Dalynn's Last Visit for a While

This blog brings bitter-sweet thoughts. We were so excited to have Daniel and Dalynn come for a visit but we realized that this would probably be the last visit with them for quite a while. Daniel was finally done with his graduate program in Baltimore and since he was lined up to do an intership back there, he was able to come home and get his sweet girls so they could all move back there together. Here are a few of the fun things we did.

"May" Gets It's Own Blog

Things must be lightening up a bit because it looks like "May" gets it's own blog.
Besides, May was such a fun month. It started out with Mother's Day and lots of wonderful surprises. Even before Mother's offical Day I received two boxes on the doorstep, both filled with beautiful flowers. It was such a wonderful surprise that I still get excited. Here is what I received.

I also got a new waffle iron and we had waffles with strawberries and whip cream.
Yeah for waffles!!

I had a fantastic ham dinner.
and a nap with little Gwen
I got cards in the mail and phone calls all day long. And it was a absolutely, fantastic, wonderful day!! Thank you all!!

March & April (and maybe May)

So, I'm finally back on my blog. It seems it's been forever since I last wrote but it's been just about that long since I took a picture or read any other blogs. Sorry! It's not that I haven't thought about it but I've been pretty busy and just waiting for more than a 10 minute break so I could catch up. Now that I'm here, I'm not really sure what to say. I've been working pretty much everyday around the clock. It's a good thing I have good jobs and I like what I do. :-)
Anyway, here are some of the pictures I've taken lately: This is what I see when I dry my hair. And, here are pictures of the snow we got in April.Dad home from the hospital and Alisha home from Balitmore (with a new shirt for Dad). We recieved a beautiful bouquet of flowers Elizabeth, James and Gwen moved home with us and we had a wonderful weekend with family when we blessed Gwen here at home. Elizabeth and James have pictures of that on their blog. As always, the best times are when children and grandchildren are here. Last night Dad and I went to the show and today I get to clean the house, do my VT report, help out at Penny's, order a gate for the side of the house, buy groceries and things ready for Sunday. But, my blog is finally up again.
Oh my goodness, I just opened the front door and there were two, that's TWO boxes of beautiful flowers for Mother's Day. Take a look at these!!! What a wonderful surprise. Thank you!!!
